It is located at 9 Nicholson Street in the Carlton Gardens, flanked by Victoria, Carlton and Rathdowne Streets, at the north-eastern edge of the central business district. A $20 million dollar Australian Government funded project will see this structure restored by 2020. Some of the works include thousands of square metres of Paint Removal.
