Peel Away paint removal system played a major role in the $260m heritage restoration of the Christchurch Arts Centre.
Devastated by a severe earthquake in 2011, the historical Arts Centre buildings, covering three blocks had severe damage and continues today (2015) to be fully restored.
Peel Away 1 was used in many painted internal surfaces of brick, sandstone and timber to remove the paint. This has been one of the biggest heritage restoration project in many years.
